STILL IN TOKYO

Hey guys, well I'm still in Tokyo and I feel really bad coz I haven't got alot of street snaps yet since it's so rainy here!!! Anyways I have to say after only spend a day in Osaka I totally fell in love with the city. It's so clean compared to China i feel sick just at the idea of coming back home!
I also spend 3days skiing in Nozawa Onsen which was awesome (even if I had an English tourist smash into me as I has attempting a jump) since I hadn't been skiing in 5 years or so...

I still have 2 days left in Tokyo and then i'll be back in China... So i'll try to make the best of it and hopefully get tons of streetsnaps...

. watcha'cookin .

So if you don't know me this will be new to you. First off, I love food. Second I love photography. Even though I'm not a pro!
Anyways, the other day I was trying to bake cookies, once again. And I failed once again. Yes I don't know why but they never stay flat they always have to grow like mushrooms... Anyways, this time I was trying the simplest reciepe of butter cookies, but I change it a bit coz I wanted to eat the cookies straight away and only let them in the fridge (well ok I used the freezer) for 20 minutes. And I ended up with 'shroom like cookies.

But for the first time in my life something changed.

I made delicious cookies!!
Yeah!!

I'm lame.

. photographic day out .

So today I finally had the guts to wake up before 2pm, because of the smell of crêpes rising in the air as I tried to hide under my sheets.

And afterwards since I hadn't been out since NYE,
I decided to go out with my mum and dad to buy the fabric for our taylor made suits we had been planning on doing for a while.

And so we spent about 1 hour looking for the right garage with the right fabrics to buy.

In all it was a pretty good day, with pretty good results. The fabric hunt came down to me buys a purplish/pinkish 3m tweed sheet and purple satin for the inside of my suite. Just to give it a more funky and not too Jackie Kennedy look.

So as we got out of the hangars a random "muslim guy" (sorry if this sounds rude but I love chinese muslim people they are so friendly) sold us some walnuts before we left.

I have to say i'm not a big fan of walnuts since most of which i have tasted had a funky sour feel to them. Eww.

Anyways we paid 40yuan (4euros) which is as expensive as my bag but I must say they where delicious.

He also sold raisins but i mean with all the flies around didn't look that tasty to me!!

So I finally had the chance last wednesday to go out with my brother, i have to say shopping with him ain't all that fun sometimes coz he can be a real pain in the ass. But wtf.
Anyways these are a couple pictures I took with my new exchange camera the Canon 350d.
It works really well and is very usefull for things like portraits and all.
The only thing i have to keep in mind is to carry a light bag coz it's really annoying when you have to carry a 2kilo camera with you all day. Pain, mixed with pleasure of the result.
